I wanted to capture all those natural moments we have with him in the beautiful natural areas surrounding us. Moving to the United States, I was allowed 2 bags, so tough decisions had to be made regarding the items I could bring with me. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>I always loved photography, but shortly after my big move, I really fell in love with photography and the value a captured moment can hold.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>When my husband and I found out we were expecting our son, I was over-the-moon excited. I wanted to get all those cute moments captured&#8230; maternity, newborn, family etc. Unfortunately we found out our little peanut had a variety of health related problems and it changed all our plans and our finances drastically. We could no longer afford all those cute sessions. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Once he arrived, I wanted to hold on to every single precious moment with him, and my phone could not quite keep up with me&#8230; So, I bought my first DSLR second hand and started shooting everything! <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>I haven&#8217;t stopped since.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Now, I would love for this to be something that is available to anyone, because we all deserve our magic moments captured and treasured forever.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After moving from South Africa, I realized how much value a photo can hold, even more so after my son was born.
